ImacG4 e Monitor Nearfield

Ciao raga,

per conto di un amico chiedo...

E' possibile utilizzare la scheda integrata del mac per pilotare una coppia di nearfield tipo yamaha MSP5?

A parte gli adattatori, la scheda ce la fà? Leggo da un link di apple


"There are two sound output ports on the back of the computer. A headphone port for standard headphones or external speakers, and an Apple Speaker sound output port for digital sound."


cioè deve collegare i monitor sulla presa cuffie?


Parlo di questo mac

non è il massimo ma si può fare direi.anche perchè spesso questi monitor hanno anche ingressi "consumer" .

"Headphone sound output port

The iMac has a 3.5 mm sound output port for stereo sound output. The headphone sound output port is suitable for connecting a pair of headphones or amplified external speakers. When a plug is inserted into the headphone sound output port, the internal speaker and the Apple Speaker minijack are disconnected.

The sound output through the headphone sound output port has the following electrical characteristics:

output level 2.0 V peak-to-peak (0.7 V RMS), open circuit
source impedance 44 ©

Infatti l'avevo letto anch'io.

I monitor hanno ingressi bilanciati e non.
Quindi direi che un cavo minijack (stereo) Y 2 jack (mono) vada bene.

L'unica cosa è che è un'uscita cuffie che accetta anche casse amplificate

Niente di strano è un'uscita di linea ovvero giusto quello che ci vuole per un'entrata non bilanciata come quella dei monitor amplificati

Beh ... è un uscita cuffie che diventa "automaticamente" (e dimmi come fà?) un uscita non amplificata.

Comunque se funziona tanto meglio.
